Our Mission
At Brick by Brick, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our Preschool offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities specifically designed, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally. The small student to teacher ratio helps connect each other at a more personal level, providing the most personalized instruction.
About Me
**Welcome to Brick by Brick!**
My name is Zahra Kabiruddin, and I am incredibly proud to celebrate four successful years of nurturing young minds at our beloved preschool, Brick by Brick. These years have been filled with joy, growth, and countless five-star reviews from our wonderful families.
This year marks my 17th year in education. I hold a degree in Education from the University of Houston, and I have dedicated my career to working with preschool through 5th grade students. My experience includes positions in Early Childhood and Preschools in Katy, along with a Director's License, and five enriching years in Katy ISD.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to learn and grow as an educator, holding various positions both public and private schools. My passion has always been to create an intimate learning environment where I can form meaningful connections with each student and provide highest level of care and education.
As a mother and a teacher, I understand the profound impact of quality early childhood education. At Brick by Brick we are committed to creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children to flourish.

The preschool program and curriculum of Mrs. Kabiruddin’s school is definitely the exception. Zahra has opened her home to children to help them grow and learn. She is getting them ready for the next stage of their education which is attending kindergarten.
I know one of her goals is to set students up for success. She did this exceptionally when I worked with her as her co-teacher at the Goddard School. I watched her teach children to read, write and become successful students.
She has also helped parents understand and gain access to materials and programs with in the public school system. She has made suggestions to parents on how to make better learning environments at home. Mrs. Kabiruddin is an exceptional teacher. I highly recommend her program for preschool age students to ready then for kindergarten.

Choosing Brick by Brick for my child’s preschool was one the best decisions I have ever made. Mrs Zahra is an amazing teacher who puts her whole heart and her time into her students. She is passionate about teaching and you can see it everyday. Mrs Zahra is very creative in how she teaches the kids, she always makes learning enjoyable, she has fun weekly themes, multiple hands on learning centers throughout the day, takes photos and videos if you choose to, so the parents can see their child’s progress everyday, and conducts interesting science experiments with the kids. My son has thrived beyond our expectations because of Mrs Zahra. He enjoyed every minute at Brick by Brick and I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

Brick by Brick School embraces what every child needs in their learning. The teacher is kind and caring. The environment is very nurturing, loving and yet disciplined and we love that it is based on hands on activities, not forced memorization of facts. You can see the spirit and creativity of the kids shine as a result. Our daughter has graduated from the school this year but we will be missing the school and the teacher dearly. I highly recommend visiting this school and you won't be disappointed.

Zahra is one special teacher, she has a way of making the children feel welcomed, safe and loved from the moment they walk into her preschool. She provides a structured day filled with all the essentials necessary to help prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. The children are having so much fun through her engaging and hands on learning methods that they don't even realize they are working hard. We are so fortunate that our daughter graduated from Brick-by-Brick School this year, we are “GRATEFUL BEYONDS WORDS” as she learned so much from Mrs. Zahra this year. Our daughter was very excited to go to school every day, we were so impressed with the thought, time and energy Mrs. Zahra put into her teachings. She was so patient, caring, creative while teaching, her love, and encouragement during the first year of our daughter’s school which had such a positive impact on our daughter where she grew with positivity, and we will be forever grateful.
